Cars shot with a classic 1960s Yashica 635 Camera

Check out these pics and tell me if I should try to shoot some more this summer?

As a kid my dad would never let me touch his classic 1960s Yashica 365 Twin Lens Reflex camera. When he passed I asked my mum if I could have it as a keepsake.

But I couldn’t resist putting a couple of rolls of medium-format through it. And whilst it was difficult and fiddly to use compared to my digital Canon SLR, and I had to download a light-meter app onto my phone to help me with settings, the resultant pictures that did come out good, were mind-blowing. And of course I shot a few cars – should I shoot some more this summer?

I even shot a 356 with the 635!
Seemed legit to shoot a Morgan 3-Wheeler with a classic camera

My friend Fraser Martin in a Bentley showroom, love the natural depth the camera gives
And this is the actual camera. A beauty ain’t it?
