Used Car Sales [& Prices] Booming Now!

Values have been growing year-on-year for 16 months running!

Used car sales and prices in the UK are exploding. According to Autotrader the average price of a used car in July was £14,781 up 14.1% up on last year. And values have been growing for 16 consecutive months. 

It’s basically down to huge demand – in fact Autotrader reckons 8 million used cars will be sold this year. So which cars have seen used prices go up? Here’s the Top 5.

In first place the Jaguar XK, has seen 43.9% growth with an average asking price of £24,648. 

Next the Audi RS3 up 38.1% – that’s still over $40k. But in third at 36.3% is the Mercedes CLK with an average price of £7180. 

Amazingly the Jeep Grand Cherokee is next at 31.8% at just under £20k and the Mazda MX-5 rises 31.5% at £12,493. Quick buy one, before it rises further, and before it starts raining again!
