Rolls-Royce Ghost Islamic Art Edition unveiled by Abu Dhabi Motors

Unique one-off Rolls-Royce revealed in Abu Dhabi

A one-off special edition Rolls-Royce Ghost featuring design motifs inspired by Islamic Art has been revealed in the United Arab Emirates, one of the biggest markets for the British luxury car marque.

Islamic Art heavily employs geometric design, calligraphy and elements of nature. Designers were able to draw inspiration from centuries of art inspired by the Muslim world to create a one-off bespoke Rolls-Royce, incorporating some of the artforms.

Revealed by Rolls-Royce dealers Abu Dhabi Motors, the Ghost features a two-tone exterior in Arctic White and Avus Blue, whilst inside there is a flower emblem embroidered into each headrest utilising Cobalto Blue, Mugello Red and Artic White thread.

The motif is also incoporated into the starlight feature within the roof of the car, set into the wood panneling on the dashboard, painted on the external C-Pillar and finally a treadplate highlights the significance of this one-of-one special.
