Urus is the Biggest Selling Lamborghini Ever!!

A Lamborghini SUV? Nobody will buy that! Er…

Lamborghinis – rare supercars right? Except for the Urus it seems. That’s the Audi Q8/Bentley Bentayga-based luxury SUV. Care to guess how many they’ve made?

Well let’s put it into context first. In 10 years of production just over 10.000 Lamborghini Aventadors have been made. Since 2013, 12,000 Huracan’s have been sold, which is close on the heels of the Gallardo – 14,000 sold in ten years. Biggest selling Lamborghini ever, until now.

They have just announced the production of the 15,000th Urus in less than four years. This is in the wake of a new sales record for Lamborghini, where it sold nearly 5000 cars in the first six months of this year – during a pandemic! The Urus already helped Lambo’s total sales double in 2019. They’ve even sold 100 of these in India.

The 15,000th car finished in Matt silver is coming to the UK. Figures – I regularly see several of these driving around my neighbourhood in Northwest london.

Anyway, to all those that complain about why the heck are supercar makers building SUVs – moan all you like, anyone who can, is out there buying them!
