Yokohama HF Type D Hobby Tyres for Classic Cars

Newly made, these tyres are finished in classic 1980s style

As the Official Tyre Partner of the Silverstone Classic, Yokohama used the event to preview its forthcoming range of hobby tyres which are manufactured to modern standards but are ideally suited to classic cars. In the above video we speak to James Brown, from Marketing and Events at Yokohama.

Yokohama is remaking Advan AD08 HF Type D tyres in 13-inch to 15-inch sizes using the same tread pattern widely recognised from the early 1980s.

The idea is to offer these to owners of classic 1980s cars who want to maintain the original look and style. Previously these have only been available in Japan but the big news is that they are now coming to UK as well as other parts of the world.
