The images below are all of my daughter Leena Amani Sheikh.

What is she doing? There’s a video. Click over and you’ll see it – I promise it’s worth a giggle or two.

You’ll probably be surprised to learn that whilst she does reasonably well on her school report, the one complaint we have always had from teachers, both from the reports and during meetings, is that: ‘Leena is very shy and quiet, she needs to come out of her shell and participate more in class discussions.’

If you’ve watched this video, you probably find that incredibly hard to believe. We certainly do, particularly as as she’s quite chatty and lively at home.

But these videos that she’s done entirely of her own accord, without scripting or thinking too much about, are utterly brilliant. They are naturally funny and certainly suggest an innate ability at improve comedy.

I just wish she could be a bit more like this at school!
