‘Anti-Motorist Policies Will Lose Elections!’ Simon Fawthrop, Councillor

Conservative councillor on why politicians need to heed the needs of motorists

In this podcast video, I speak to Simon Fawthrop, Conservative Councillor for Petts Wood & Knoll, Orpington, about where the situation with ULEZ currently stands, how anti-motorists and anit-car policies will lose elections, crime in London, why protests should be about policy not personality and the revelation that TFL is sending our data to Argentina, India and Israel! Fascinating discussion in the back of a famous Pink London Taxi which you can hire – just go to this Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100076632528620

  1. Excellent report, Shahzad. Like the Pink Taxi! Mr Henry Ford would be turning in his grave at the sight of it (as the great man said about his Model T, “You can have any colour you want so long as it is black”)

If you get to again interview Councillor Simon Fawthrop for Petts Wood & Knoll, Orpington, Kent, could you please ask him why we have to wait for May 2024 to get Susan Hall in as mayor to abolish ULEZ when I sent her an e-mail on how to win the election by getting Andrew Harper, Transport Secretary, to simply invoke Section 148 of the Act pertaining to the Mayor of London before May 2024 and it is perfectly legal (I don’t know what legal people Mr Harper listens to but my solicitor friend who did a lot of High Court service including Victims of Crime Prosecution is quite clear in his legal mind that Section 148 and an application to remove Khan under the Mental Health Act, Mental Competency Test, is very cast iron and possible. He can also be done for breach of Democratic laws). The same could be done with the totally unbalanced decision of Mr Justice Swift concerning Khan and ULEZ (all in my e-mail to Susan Hall).

Incidentally, has anyone taken the steps to instigate legal proceedings to take Khan to the European Court in The Hague, (U.N. Court of Human Rights) as he has breached democratic laws, ignored a majority vote, installing his own one, and allegedly involved in potentially falsifying a Death Certificate with regard to ULEZ. He can be done at least under the Data Protection Act, 1984 and subsequent amendments regarding the data being sent to other nations in this country’s laws.

For a nation that is a founder member of the United Nations in 1945 and a signatory to all UN laws and resolutions, we appear to act as a Political Totalitarian State and certainly not as a Democracy as per the Ancient Greeks (‘Democracy’ comes from the Greek word ‘Demos’, meaning ‘Of the people’).

As always, keep up the excellent work, Shahzad, and hope you enjoyed your Taxi ride!

    Kind regards,
    Steve.

      1. My pleasure as always, Shazad.

Looking forward to meeting Gary etc this Tuesday, 26th September 1pm, at my house to commence the LOFRIX tests using my trusty ‘X’-Reg Ford Mondeo 2.0Litre ‘Ghia’ Petrol-engine Estate car (Andrew the journalist messaged me about that too). If you require any other details etc, I can be contacted on mobile 07951-282707.

        Kind regards,
        Steve (Test Driver).
