Great work, Shahzad. Enough evidence here to formally scrap ULEZ and remove Khan from the post of Mayor. Time for an urgently convened Select Committee!
I had a reply from Susan Hall to my e-mail and she is going to remove ULEZ as her first duty as elected Mayor of London. It is a pity some people do not read between the lines of an e-mail as if she actually persuaded Transport Secretary Harper to invoke Section 148 of the Mayoral Code and removed Khan and scrapped ULEZ for good BEFORE a Mayoral election she would romp home in the election from a grateful London public. Oh well, perhaps the Reform UK Party can do better!
The World Health Organisation come out with some of the most banal comments ever! Some time ago one of their ‘interesting people’, the Brazilian rep who looked like a man in drag (the press and critics dubbed her ‘The Brazil Nut’) came out with an accusation of alleged dictatorial behaviour from the Conservative Government which had no substance. Cue ‘The Brazil Nut’ forced to apologise by the UN Secretary General (‘Daily Mail’ covered this in great detail with an unflattering photo of ‘The Brazil Nut’!).
Speaking of the ‘Daily Mail’, a letter in the Wednesday 11th October edition with the title ‘ULEZ Madness’ from a Mr Brendan Giblin, London SE19, has this poor gentleman being threatened with having to pay the congestion charge (£15) and ULEZ (£12.50) for his vehicle entering London….on the back of a Recovery Agent’s flatbed vehicle after the car had broken down in Essex! TFL now appear to fine cars that are NOT emitting fumes too! A newsworthy item for ‘browncarguy’. Naturally I have sent a letter to Mr Giblin via the ‘Letters Page’ Editor on how to legally fight this nonsense and win, thanks to my solicitor friend (who also advised me on how Section 148 works to scrap ULEZ, remove Khan etc).
