Following on from the success of the inaugural London EV Show at the Business Design Centre in London in December last year, it was back this year (29 November – 1 December 2022) several times bigger, with an attendance of thousands, over 170 exhibitors, and more than 140 speakers across two conference auditoriums operating simultaneously. And guess who was responsible for running both of them efficiently?
As conference coordinator, I had to be there very early on the first day to meet the teams, get an idea of the layouts, and trying to establish how everything would be run over the next three days. Many VIP guests on the first day, including motoring guru and TV presenter Quentin Wilson, Ian Plummer from Autotrader, and several ministers and even a High Commissioner. Racked up well over 15,000 steps today! Including during a very quick walk around of the show’s stands.
