Driven by Daniel Craig in ‘No Time To Die’
James Bond’s Aston Martin V8 from ‘No Time To Die’ is being sold at auction for charity by Christie’s. It’s being offered direct by EON Productions and is estimated to be sold for well over £500,000.
It bears the number plate B549 WUU, the same as seen on Aston Martin V8 used by Timothy Dalton’s James Bond in ‘The Living Daylights’. However, the actual registration of the car is CGT 955X. This 1981 car is one of three used in the movie and was specifically driven by Daniel Craig as James Bond. This car (a V8 Vantage) was restored and the non-running engine was replaced and a 5-speed manual was added. The car has a 5.3-litre V8 now. The bodywork was altered to match the spec of a 1979 V8 Coupe (Dalton’s car). In ‘The Living Daylights’, the car had bullet-proof windows, missiles and skis among other ‘optional extras’.
