Lifesize 007 James Bond Aston Martin DB5 at Lego’s London Store

Leena loves  @LEGO  and on a visit to the newly refurbished giant flagship Lego Store in Leciester Square London, discovered a lifesize  @James Bond 007   @Aston Martin  DB5 Lego car, that you can even sit in. It was made up of nearly 350,000 bricks, took 57 days to build and weights a literal ton! It has working headlights, dashboard lights and a rotating number plate. You can’t buy this car, but you can get the Speed Champions series Lego model complete with James Bond minifigure and five number plates for under £18 at this link https://amzn.to/3TMS44p

In some classic movies and TV shows, the cars became as big, if not bigger, icons than the human stars. Now we can’t imagine those films without the famous cars – well actually Bristol Street Motors can. It’s dug out the vehicles that might originally have featured, and created posters revealing the would-be alternatives. Some of the cars are quite surprising, but none moreso than the fridge!

Eid is a week away, so I’ve been thinking fantasy Eid gifts – and after a month of fasting, that too under lockdown conditions, I believe they’re well-deserved. Being a petrolhead, they’ve got to be cars, and being a fantasy there doesn’t need to be any budgetary restrictions, and being Eid, let’s make it seven. Here’s mine, what would be yours?
