Which UK cities give you the best chance of passing your test?
Hey learner drivers – where in the UK do you think you’ll have the best chance of passing your driving test?
Well according to driver’s ed organisation Zutobi.com Warrington in the Northwest is the best place with a 54% pass rate – 55.2% pass rate for first attempts!
Zutobi looked at overall pass rate, first attempt pass rate, accidents per 100,000 people and average local speed to come up with a list.
Number 2 was Bournemouth at 52.8% pass rate with 52.3% for first timers, though 3rd place was better – that’s Bolton – for first timers at 53% though 51.6% overall.
And the worst places to take your driving test? Leeds with just a 34.7% overall pass rate, Birmingham and Luton.
Personally I passed first time in London which was 23 out of 30 cities rated at 43% overall – though that was way back in 1985.
