Check out my review of the Toyota Aygo – a fun package with a tight fit!

This is the 2019 Toyota Aygo in X-trend spec which is actually new for this year. It gets the 15-inch machined alloys and the red accents on the sills, bumper and mirrors, which are cool. Even cooler is the optional canvas full length power roof – in the summer it’s like driving a baby four-seater convertible!

Just over a week ago I attended the first ever UK edition of FuelFest, a car meet and show organised by Cody Walker, brother of the late Paul Walker, star of the Fast & Furious franchise. Cody founded the event in honour of his brother and to raise funds for, and continue the work of, the Charity founded by Paul – Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW).

You’re not ready to save the planet just yet, according to JATO Dynamics’ report on the European Car Market in May. 1.44m vehicles were registered, 6.91m for the year so far – and not many were EVs.

Almost shock-defeat for Lexus in satisfaction survey!

In automotive terms this would’ve been the shocker of the century

Driver Power from Auto Express is the UK’s version of JD Power brand satisfaction surveys in the States. It basically canvasses actual owners and buyers for real-world results on car buying and car ownership and sums them up in overall ratings and scores. Unsurprisingly the Japanese car brands dominate. Except they nearly didn’t this year!
