I wrapped up the show by presenting the first LondonEVShow Awards Ceremony
The fourth edition of the London EV Show concluded at ExCeL London, setting a new standard in electric mobility discussions and showcasing a bold vision for a sustainable future. Over three days, industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators gathered to explore the cutting-edge advancements driving the transition to electric transportation.
The event opened with keynote addresses from Lilian Greenwood MP, Minister for the Future of Roads, and Mete Coban, Deputy Mayor of London for Environment and Energy. Both highlighted London’s ambition to become the world’s first EV-ready global city.
Throughout the show, discussions spanned crucial topics such as consumer behaviour, battery management, fleet electrification, and urban micromobility. Day two focused on navigating the global EV landscape, examining policies and infrastructure challenges essential to scaling electric adoption.
On the bustling exhibition floor, companies like Autel Europe UK, Lotus Flash Charge, and Power Electronics displayed revolutionary technologies, from rapid charging solutions to advanced battery systems. The Mobility Business Connect program proved a standout, fostering high-level partnerships across the EV ecosystem.
The event’s platinum sponsor, Ekoenergetyka Polska S.A., praised the networking opportunities, while attendees like Leah Hickman of Energy Park found the latest EV charging innovations “truly inspiring.”
The show’s grand finale, the London EV Show Awards, honoured trailblazers in the EV sector. Highlights included ena (Energy Network Association) receiving the Innovation Award and Dundee City Council earning the Sustainability Award. Renault’s new 5 E-Tech electric car was crowned Car of the Year, reflecting its blend of nostalgia and cutting-edge technology.
