About the Book

“Quantum Races: Lessons from the Finish Line” explores themes of ambition, survival, technological advancements, and moral dilemmas through captivating narratives and relatable characters. The anthology includes stories such as:

  • Stang Struck: When cars are banned and consigned to museums, an enforcer is seduced by a Mustang and a new renegade road warrior emerges. Imagine Fast & Furious in the world of The Demolition Man.
  • The Flight of the Red Bird: A intergalactic bounty hunter targets Earth most celebrated and successful racing driver, who is not all he appears to be.
  • The Marineris Hotel: A visionary entrepreneur literally reaches beyond the stars to create what everyone told him was impossible, a luxury resort on Mars. But is the mental anguish of his ambition to much to bear? It’s like The Martian meets The Shining.
  • Camelball Run: An Arab Sheikh attempts to recreate a legendary race in the Middle East – this story is inspired by the original Cannonball Run.
  • The Miracle Reporter: What if superheroes stayed in the shadows, righting wrongs, saving lives but never revealing themselves?
  • Alien Invasion – Target Burj: This story is combines elements of Independence Day and Gulliver’s Travels. As Dubai anticipates a forewarned attack by space invaders, the scale of the operation is somehow underestimated.
  • The Secret Lives of Muslims: A story that’s deeply personal to the author and extremely relevant to current events, it pulls down the purdah on what really goes on in the mind of Muslims and the tragic fate that awaits them.
