Here’s everything you need to know about the forthcoming British Motor Show including how to get discounted tickets. It’s not just a car show, it’s a live-action event with tons going on, things to see and do, celebs to meet and get selfies with, prizes, games… and just a fantastic fun day out for the whole family! From car football, to record-breaking stunts, supercars, classic cars and even the British Army parachuting in! And I’ll be there all four days! The Show is at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre 17-20 August (come see me hosting the VIP lounge in the morning and Tech Theatre for the rest of the day).

The Ultimate Automotive Showcase
From August 17th to 20th, the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre will transform into a haven for car enthusiasts.
In addition to the static car show, there is tons to see and do including live action stunts and crazy antics like Car Football, record breaking activities, and you can even have a go behind the wheels of some of the newest cars on the market. The children won’t be left out either with an under-17s driving school and the Kids Zone.
One of the features is the IMI Tech Hub, where I’ll be hosting over the four days, but each morning, I’ll also be hosting the VIP lounge, where VIP ticket holders can rub shoulders with the biggest names in the automotive world. We’re talking about the likes of Mike Brewer from Wheeler Dealers, Tim and Fuzz from Car SOS, and a constellation of stars including Alex Kirsten, Mike Rutherford, Paul Cowland, and many more!
Even if you don’t make it to the VIP lounge all the celebrities will be out and about, happy to meet visitors and take Selfies. Tim and Fuzz will personally be greeting show-goers at the front gate every morning!

At the Tech Hub, we’ve got something for everyone – career advice for aspiring auto aficionados, car maintenance tips for the little ones, and experts from the AA ready to answer your burning car questions.

Electrifying Discussions and Drivers Den
Get ready for some electrifying debates as we dive into the world of electric cars. We’ll be dissecting whether the internal combustion engine’s days are numbered and, brace yourselves, we’ll even be predicting the motoring scene in 2050! But that’s not all – hold onto your steering wheels because we’re introducing the Drivers Den. It’s like Dragon’s Den but for automotive innovation – get ready to be wowed!
The Drivers Den, End of ICE and Motoring 2050 will take place Thursday, Friday and Saturday, while on Sunday there’s a special auction that will take over.
Vrooming Through Classic Car Paradise
Ewbanks Auction House will steal the show with an array of classic beauties up for grabs. From a Rickshaw, vintage Alvis cars, and classic Peugeot convertible and American muscle like the Chevy Camaro Z28 and a 1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.
Live Action and Thrilling Rides
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg – there’s a lot more to discover at the show! Explore the latest new cars, classic car displays, supercars at the Premier GT Supercar Paddock, modified car marvels, and the Petrolheadonism Zone.

11:30-11:50am – Car Maintenance for Kids (Haynes Motor Museum)
Next session is aimed at helping kids understand the basics of how a car works. The Experts from Haynes will walk you through how to do basic safety and maintenance checks right here!
12-12:30pm – Ask the Experts (the AA)
The AA are experts in all things automotive, and today their experts are here to answer all your automotive related questions and give independent advice.
12:40-1pm – Switching to Electric
Everything you need to know about electric cars and making the switch to EVs. All your questions answered, all your concerns addressed. If you’ve decided to convert, or are thinking about it but are not sure – this session is for you!
1:10-1:30 – Institute of Motor Industry (IMI) Perception Campaign Launch
1:50-2:30pm – Drivers Den (Thu, Fri, Sat only)
A ‘Dragons Den Style’ Session where three companies get to pitch their latest product and idea to the audience and our experts. The audience will get to vote on which they think is the best idea!
2:40-3pm – Is this the End of ICE? (Thu, Fri, Sat only)
Has the internal combustion engine (ICE) had its day? Is EV the future? What will happen to all our petrol and diesel cars? What about classics?
3:10-3:30 – Motoring in 2050 (Thu, Fri, Sat only)
