We can’t wait to see the back of 2016, and with some justification. It sucked balls – read my blog post about it.
And we can’t wait to welcome and embrace 2017. I do hope it’s a great year for all!
But let’s not kid ourselves, let’s be honest. 2016 or 2017 are just arbitrary numbers that we as Man used to mark points on the linear passage of time. Tomorrow could be just another day.
But that’s up to us, isn’t it?
What is real, is the past, the present and the future.
The pass is done, and we can look at it, and learn from it, but we cannot change it.
The present is now and to some extent we have more control over it. We could make it work for us.
The future however is full of untold opportunities and possibilities. It all depends on how we approach it.
So Happy New Year to you all, wishing you all the best for 2017.
