ThrowBackThursday Nissan Maxima in Saudi Arabia

Around 1990 – me reviewing the Nissan Maxima

#ThrowBackThursday to Jeddah, KSA, around 1990, and me reviewing a Nissan Maxima. Quite an elegant thing with a lusty 3.0 V6. Biggest saloon Nissan did at the time, had sporty pretences, but lumbered with front-wheel drive. For more like this search #SSMemoirs or check this link on Instagram

My first car review

You see? I was cute… way back in the 1970s!

#ThrowBackThursday to the 1970s and my first car review – actually my first car! I loved this thing, though I’m still not quite sure what it was meant to be. I used to think it was a Morris Minor and the resemblance is certainly there, but it’s not quite right. Anyway I can remember being fascinated by and in love with cars as far back as I can remember anything, despite the fact that no one in my family had any interest, professional or otherwise, in cars and motoring. How about you – where did your interests and passions first arise from? Oh and by the way, yes I am wearing a matching tie. LOL!!
