Awesome to see hope and optimism galvanise voting, particularly among the young. No more need for grudging acceptance and stoic cynicism – things can change!
BTW Labour got 40% of the votes. In the previous election in 2015 it achieved only 30%. You have to go back to 2001 for the last time it got 40% which was when Blair won his second term! In fact Blair won his third term with only 35%. So that puts into perspective Corbyn’s achievement. Credit where credit is due.

A buffoon-in-chief speaks – or should that be reads badly – on matters he simply can’t begin to comprehend. The insincerity stabs at you with every jab of the tiny paw.
How is it we live in a world where all the political pundits tell us that a man who speaks of a just, fair, peaceful and hopeful future for us and our young has no chance of winning an election, whilst an out-of-touch, flighty, egomaniac focussed solely on strengthening her own power base (like her counterpart across the Atlantic) – to the obvious detriment of what we used to understand democracy to be – is a sure bet?
An old video sure, but please listen to this speech and then ponder that this is not a man that talks about conceited and contrived ‘strong and stable’ politics.
