There is no other more comprehensive, detailed and informative walkaround of the show on the web!
What happens when you drop some of the world’s rarest, wildest, most wonderful (and occasionally weird) cars onto a pristine lawn in the heart of the City of London? That’s right — you get London Concours 2025, and yes, I was there covering it for the fifth year in a row! It’s undoubtedly one of my favourite events of the year – and from these videos and pictures – you’ll be able to see why!
Hosted in the pristine gardens of the Honourable Artillery Company (yes, right in the beating heart of the Square Mile), the event brought together more than 100 iconic machines, stretching from elegant pre-war coachbuilt masterpieces to the raw fury of modern hypercars and even eccentric automotive art.
Over two glorious days at the Honourable Artillery Company grounds, I captured a complete walkaround of every single car – from glamorous coachbuilt Ferraris to a turquoise invalid carriage with one wheel at the front – i’ve got them all! Variety? You bet. Surprises? Absolutely. Highlights? Too many to count – but here are a few choice picks.

Ford Mustang GT500 Fastback – The American Muscle Invader
Loud, proud, and bulging with V8 thunder, this Mustang brought star-spangled attitude to London’s well-heeled lawn – via Belgium! With period-correct racing livery and a soundtrack to melt your tie, it was a standout among the Europeans – a proper action hero of a car. This was one of my ‘Cars of the Show’ for sure!
AMG ‘Red Pig’ Replica – Built by a Viewer, Loved by Legends
You know I’m a sucker for passion projects — and this one hit different. Mark, a loyal BrownCarGuy viewer, has recreated the legendary AMG 300 SEL “Red Pig” with painstaking accuracy. The £2K wheels alone were custom-built from Mercedes’ original blueprints. Even the stickers took weeks to get right. This car bleeds enthusiasm. No wonder it stole the show.

AC Acedes Mk15 (Model 67) – The Weirdest Thing There
You thought hypercars were eye-catching? Try a 1967 three-wheeled invalid carriage with a 493cc engine and the turning circle of a shopping trolley. Built for accessibility, saved from a field, and restored over 11 years by father and son, this might be the most love ever lavished on what’s technically not even a car. You’ll never look at mobility the same way again.

Ford Capri Perana V8 – Built for Speed, Banned for Winning
Tuned by South African outfit Basil Green Motors, this Capri V8 was so fast in Group 5 racing, it got banned. 280bhp, sub-6-second 0–60mph, and one of fewer than 500 made. This one was once owned by world heavyweight boxing champ Gerrie Coetzee. Punchy? You bet.

AC Cobra 289 – Once Driven by Racing Legends & Rock Stars
One of just 45 right-hand-drive UK models, this Cobra’s ownership includes Willie Green, Gerry Marshall, and a restoration that saw it featured at Villa d’Este. It’s not just fast — it’s fabulous.
Meanwhile, the 1964 AC Cobra Roadster raced by legends like Roy Salvadori and Bob Bondurant continues to dominate historic races to this day. That’s heritage you can still hear.

Mercedes-Benz 220A ‘Rose Garden’ – The Car as Canvas
Who needs paint protection film when you’ve got actual art all over your car? Japanese-American artist Hiro Yamagata turned this 1952 Merc into a rolling exhibit in his Earthly Paradise series. Displayed in L.A., Venice, and toured with Beat poet Allen Ginsberg, it now lives in the UK thanks to Vinnie Mandzak, a California Benz dealer known as “Vinnie the Car Guy.”

Ford RS200 – Group B Royalty
Designed to conquer the World Rally Championship, this mid-engined AWD weapon never got its full chance thanks to the Group B ban. But it’s still a titan of rallying lore. Only 15 were built in RHD rally spec. With just 1100 miles on the clock, it’s barely broken in.

Ferrari SP3 Daytona – Modern Muscle, Retro Soul
A sculptural tribute to Maranello’s 1967 Daytona 1-2-3 finish, the SP3 is a masterclass in passive aero and V12 theatre. 829bhp. 9250rpm redline. No wings. Just power and poetry. Seeing one up close? Like spotting a unicorn that bench presses jet engines. Very curvaceous, and quite huge. This is one phat lady – that’s for sure!

Pagani Utopia C10 – The Anti-EV Hypercar
Pagani doesn’t follow trends – it sets artistic benchmarks. The Utopia bucks the hybrid hype with a twin-turbo AMG V12, no electric fluff, and a gated manual. It’s mechanical madness, beautifully stitched in carbon, leather and soul.

Koenigsegg One:1 – The Maths Doesn’t Lie
One horsepower per kilogram. 1341bhp. Top speed north of 270mph. This thing could probably outrun the Millenium Falcon. Only seven were ever made. Seeing one in the metal is a moment.

Other Curios, Icons & Cult Classics
- Jaguar Lister XJ40 proved brutal is beautiful with its twin-supercharged V12.
- Ford Capri 3.0S X-Pack showed off how good wide arches and Janspeed pipes can look in Midnight Blue.
- Gordon Murray T.50? Let’s just say it makes the McLaren F1 look like a warm-up act.
Why London Concours Still Matters
Whether you’re a concours veteran, weekend wrencher, or YouTube petrolhead, the London Concours 2025 delivered on every level – style, substance, and surprise. Events like this remind us why car culture is alive and kicking – not just in race circuits or garages, but in curated lawns, passionate conversations, and stories told in paint, steel, and rubber.
The London Concours doesn’t just celebrate rare and expensive cars – it celebrates stories. Owner dedication. Forgotten marques. The fine line between art and engineering. And yes – the oddball weirdness that makes the car world so gloriously diverse. If you’re a petrolhead, you’ll love it. If you’re not, you just might become one.
