What is Formula E, how do the cars work & the drivers’ incredible workload
On Sunday I was invited by Nissan UK to join them for the very last round of the Formula E season right here in London at the Excel Centre – the track is half indoors and half outside. Unfortunately, it mostly rained. In any case, I took it as an opportunity to find out more about this fascinating race formula and see and hear the race cars in action for myself. Find out what I thought of them in this video.

Sorry but Formula E bores my friend and myself to death! It sounds like a cross between a demented milk float and a horde of wasps under the car’s bodywork. Give us two Brands Hatch Racing School hopefuls Formula 3, Formula 2, Formula 1 and Formula 5000 with real engines and performance anytime!
Shahzad, do you have a general e-mail address please as I can copy you into an e-mail I am sending to Susan Hall, the Conservative party Mayoral election candidate, which both you and your subscribers may find interesting and food for thought. Thank you and also thank you for all your excellent reportage.
