Beats a Bentayga up the famous hill climb
The Lamborghini Urus Performante has set a new record for a production SUV at the legendary Pikes Peak Hill Climb with a time of 10:32.064 beating its own cousin, the Bentley Bentayga, by 17.8 seconds!
Recently introduced the Urus Performante used in the record attempt was fitted with a roll cage, fire extinguisher and the seats were swapped out for race seats with six-point harnesses. The Urus Performante has 666bhp, is 47kg lighter, can accelerate from rest to 62mph in 3.3 seconds (0.3 seconds quicker than the regular Urus) and reach 190mph. Deliveries of the new Urus Performante will begin by the end of the year with prices starting from £170,000.
