I’ve been checking out the magnificent beast that is the new 2021 Cadillac Escalade online – it’s gargantuan, futuristic and pretty awesome. I love it and would love to do a review. I’ve driven previous versions and it reminded me of an amazing gangster / heist / secret rendezvous mini movie we produced back in 2016 with the Escalade for Cadillac Middle East when I was at Motoring Middle East. This shouldn’t really come as a surprise, but sales of trucks and SUVs have massively increased in United States of America over the past 10 years, whilst market share for saloons and hatchbacks has been dramatically shrunk. No wonder Ford of US is switching over entirely to SUVs (apart from Mustang – the world’s best-selling sportscar).
