I catch up with my old Dubai buddy, PR professional, Tom Conway-Gordon in the Ultimate Podcast Machine – which of course is my 1989 BMW 325i E30. It’s black, and Tom runs a car fan Instagram Page – AnyColourSoLongAsItsBlack So while he was keen to see and snap the E30, I took him for a drive and a chat!

#FlashBackFriday to about 8 years ago when I was producing the Middle East edition of Car magazine (at ITP Media Group in Dubai) and things didn’t quite go to plan.
I read a comment on Facebook somewhere recently: ‘they’re falling like flies’. And I flinched for a moment, because the flies being referred to, was us. But it’s not too late to save our species though.
On a wider scale, we’re seeing the erosion of real quality journalism with unfortunate consequences on real world events that will impact us all sooner or later. But I’ve written about all that elsewhere. Today I want to micro this down to automotive media, and further zero-in on our region.
A buffoon-in-chief speaks – or should that be reads badly – on matters he simply can’t begin to comprehend. The insincerity stabs at you with every jab of the tiny paw.
