Neville Darukhanawalla – from Scooter Boy to Ram Head

The Amazing Journey from selling old mags in India to PR for FCA in Dubai

In this episode I chat to my good buddy, Neville Darukhanawalla. A self-confessed automotive buff, Neville Jal Darukhanawalla has been associated with cars and bikes since his school days in the late 1980s. A two-time national champion, racing scooters in his native India, he has raced in different forms of motorcycle sport – road racing, motocross, rallies, flat track, trials and what have you. A massive fan of Formula One and MotoGP – in fact, of all forms on motor racing, he believes that racing improves the breed.

I know Supercar Blondie but I’m the real Car Girl!

She rides bikes and drives too fast, is a radio and TV star and can kick ass if she wants to!

Great to catch up with the all-action Wonder Woman of motoring in the UAE – Alix Capper Murdoch Atkinson. She’s in the military, she does stunt driving, she races cars and bikes, she’s a radio DJ, has done TV and live shows (with me) and raises loads of cats. She also manages to name drop quite a bit in this video from her time in Dubai from Kanye West and Kim Kardashian to Jackie Chan and working alongside Alex Hirschi AKA Supercar Blondie. Plus that time she deliberately crashed a Range Rover into a Taxi in Dubai!

Cannonball Run Record Broken & Bargain Shelbys in Lockdown Dubai

Latest Brown Car Guy Update 14042020 #BCGDaily

Catching up with my dear friend and founding partner on Motoring Middle East (which he still runs) we extensively cover the Cannonball Run and the latest effort to beat the coast-to-coast record; explain why trucks are cool, as is the Civic Type R, but supercars are not; reveal our least and most favourite BMW SUVs; where in the world to bag a bargain 760bhp Shelby GT 500 Ford Mustang; and I inadvertantly leave instructions for my own funeral arrangements in particular with regards to donuts – of both kind!
