Looking at the new cars out this week – the all-new BMW 4 Series with THAT GRILLE and Hyundai’s redesigned Santa Fe, which could be Thor’s new ride. Plus car sale in the UK crashed in May, but look like they might rocket in June. And I can’t not talk about #BlackLivesMatter and how BAME people are impacted by COVID-19.
When I moved to Dubai in 2006 as editor of Car Middle East, Damien Reid was editor of Autocar Middle East, but from fierce professional rivarly emerged a fast personal friendship. It’s great to catch up with one of the most respected and prolific car journalists in the Middle East, to hear some great behind-the-scenes stories of what really went on with PR, car manufacturers and magazine publishing in Dubai, and get his considered take on the state of motor racing during the COVID-19 lockdown.
