Enough, PLEASE, Enough!

The last few days of Ramadan, a very special time for Muslims… A time of contemplation, meditation, reflection and celebration. A time for prayer. A time for peace.

And yet these evil barbarians continue to inflict horror, pain, death and destruction – supposedly in the name of religion.
These are not Muslims, they’re barely even human beings.

Enough, PLEASE, enough!

I vent in impotent fury and rage, helpless and at a loss for understanding – I’ve run out of tears, anguish and sorrow.

I can only send up a plea, fearing even so that it may make me no better than these barbarians, but I beseech thee O God, END THEM and end their ways!

Britain’s leadership is in disarray. And nobody looks solid enough to step up to the crease. Maybe the country should get an immigrant in to do the job that no Brit clearly wants.  I hear there’s a good candidate that will become free in November. He has a lot of experience and a proven track record.

Paris attacks: sadness, shame and sorrow

I’ve only now had the chance to catch up with world events, and specifically the terrible attacks in France, and once again I feel the overwhelming burden of disgust, despair and depression – sadness for the dead, injured and their loved ones; horror that it was once again ‘us Muslims’ that carried out such heinous and cowardly acts; and sheer dread of the potential retribution against the ordinary followers of my faith, who are always left afraid and ashamed to even utter – ‘but it wasn’t us’.
