He writes about cars for the London Evening Standard, Daily Telegraph and Spectator Online website as well as other titles. He’s also a judge for the Motor Trader Awards. He’s also an author with nine books to his credit including the Bluffer’s Guide to Cars and Hen & The Art of Chicken Maintenance! I ask him about that, and also his first car, which was a Honda Z600, which he bought for 5 pence from his dad. These days he rocks around in a 1989 Skoda 120L saloon, that’s the Estelle.

Happy Star Trek Day! To celebrate I’m looking at what cars would Star Trek’s most famous characters drive? If they drove, because they don’t need to, because of course they have transporters! What would Kirk, Picard and even Q or the Gorn Captain drive? Who’d have a Raptor, M2 Competition or Nissan GTR? Find out in this video, to mark the day that Star Trek the Original Series was first broadcast – 8th September 1966.
