Farage and Reform’s Real Agenda Has Been Exposed – A War on Minorities Masquerading as Migration Policy
This is what I was afraid of. And there’s probably worse to come…
Successive UK governments have been utterly incompetent when it comes to dealing with illegal migration. Instead of addressing the real problem with practical, humane, enforceable policies, they’ve allowed the issue to fester until it’s blown up and grabbed headlines at grotesquely disproportionate levels. Worse, it’s been conflated with immigration as a whole. And now the mask has slipped. Nigel Farage and Reform UK are finally showing us their true face – and it’s as ugly as we feared.
Farage’s Plan to Scrap Indefinite Leave to Remain
Farage is proposing to abolish Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) – the settled status that gives legal migrants stability and security after years of contributing to this country. In its place, he wants a five-year renewable visa, shackled with arbitrary conditions: higher salary thresholds, fluent English requirements, bans on benefits, and an extended 10-year path to citizenship… oh and no access to the NHS.
And if you already have ILR? Too bad – he wants you to reapply. Thousands of families who thought they were settled would suddenly face upheaval.
The £234 Billion Fantasy and Brexit Déjà Vu
To make matters worse, Farage dares to claim this would save Britain £234 billion. That number is pure fantasy – economic experts have already shredded it. Remember the £350m a week Brexit was supposed to free up for the NHS? Ask your GP how much of that they’ve seen. That’s if you ever actually get to see your GP.
Like Trump, Farage plucks ridiculous figures from thin air, hoping repetition will make them real. It’s not policy – it’s propaganda.
Exemptions for Europeans – A Clear Double Standard
But the real tell came when pressed about who this would affect. Reports suggest Farage hinted at “possible exemptions” for Europeans with settled status. Translation? If you’re white, you’re okay. If you’re black, brown, or Asian – tough luck. The implication could not be clearer: white immigrants welcome, the rest not.
Why Minorities Are Right to Fear This Agenda
And that’s what truly terrifies me. Many minorities already feel a chill in the air – echoes of the racist hostility of the 1970s. Now Reform UK is essentially saying: even legal migrants are only tolerated if they clear irrationally high hurdles. How long before the goalposts shift again, and it’s not just migrants but “non-indigenous”, “non-white” British citizens who are suddenly deemed unwelcome? Is this the ultimate aim?
Division as a Political Weapon
Let’s not kid ourselves – this isn’t about migration. This is about division. Farage, Trump, Musk, Tommy Robinson – different faces, same playbook. A well-funded elite cabal stoking cultural warfare, keeping ordinary people too busy blaming each other to notice the real scandal: collapsing public services, spiralling costs, and obscene inequality. Instead of directing our anger at the billionaire class and broken governance, we’re encouraged to “blame the other”.
A Dangerous Movement Masquerading as Policy
Farage’s latest proposal exposes what Reform UK really is: not a party with solutions, but a dangerous movement that wants to roll back decades of progress and target minorities, ALL minorities.
