Beware Phone Scam Warns DVSA
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has issued a stark warning about a new wave of fraudulent text messages aimed at unsuspecting drivers. These scam texts claim to be issuing parking fines in an attempt to trick people into clicking malicious links and providing personal information. Below is an example of what they look like.
The texts are cleverly designed to look official, often mimicking legitimate DVSA communications, but they are not genuine. If you’ve received one of these messages, delete it immediately and do not click any links.

DVSA should be in all-caps and the numerous spelling mistakes should give the message away as fake, but these could easily be rectified in future messages.
Stay alert and protect yourself by ensuring any fines or official correspondence come directly from trusted sources. Don’t get caught out by this con – it could cost you more than just a parking fee!
Share this warning with friends and family to keep everyone safe from this rising scam trend!
