New 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish

We don’t know who the next James Bond is, but this is probably his next car!

I bet Bond fans are getting excited right now. Well, actually, we don’t know who the next James Bond is yet, do we? They’re still on the hunt for the new 007. But one thing’s for sure: Bond is synonymous with Aston Martin. And let’s face it, he’s not going to be seen in anything less than the best – cue the brand-new Aston Martin Vanquish 2024.

Now, if you’re a Bond aficionado, you’ll remember the Pierce Brosnan era when he was driving… wait for it… BMWs! That’s right, but eventually, he got his hands on an Aston Martin, and what was it? The Vanquish. A fitting name for Bond’s vehicle, if you ask me, and now the legendary Vanquish has made its triumphant return. But this isn’t just some rehash or a mild facelift. No, this is a full-blown, V12-powered beast designed to leave rivals in the dust.

Sticking with the V12

Here’s the part that might surprise you in today’s climate of electrification and downsizing – this new Vanquish isn’t a hybrid, a V8, or (heaven forbid) a V6. No, Aston Martin has held firm, giving us the full-fat 5.2-litre V12 Twin-Turbo that pumps out a mind-boggling 835PS and a ridiculous 1,000Nm of torque. That’s right, a true, roaring V12 in 2024. A bold move, but one that Aston Martin justifies by making a strong business case. After all, Ferrari’s still flying the 12-cylinder flag with its new 12Cilindri, and it seems Aston Martin is more than happy to join them. Who can complain about that?

Performance Stats That’ll Blow You Away

Let’s talk numbers. The 2024 Aston Martin Vanquish rockets from 0-62mph in 3.3 seconds. That’s staggering for a luxury GT car weighing in at 1,774kg. With a top speed of 214mph, this is the fastest series production car Aston Martin has ever made. So if you fancy breaking the sound barrier (well, almost), this might be the ride for you.

And it’s not just brute power. This car is designed to deliver a smooth, sophisticated driving experience, with Bilstein DTX dampers calibrated specifically for the Vanquish. You’ve also got Pirelli P ZERO™ tyres wrapped around 21-inch forged alloys, and a standard carbon ceramic brake system to ensure you can stop as quickly as you can start.

Built for the Drive – and the Look

There’s a lot of talk about the Vanquish being 80mm longer in the wheelbase compared to its stablemates. What does that mean? Well, it’s not just about squeezing out more space – it’s only got two seats! That extra length gives the Vanquish a more grandiose, stretched look – especially noticeable in the side profile. It’s pure Aston Martin elegance, with a hint of that sleek One-77 about it.

The design is unmistakably Aston Martin, with just enough unique touches to make it stand out from the crowd. The panoramic glass roof is a first for an Aston Martin V12, and the rear-end? Well, it’s like nothing else in the range. They’ve called it the shield, a design feature that draws inspiration from Bond’s classic DB5 – remember the bulletproof shield that popped up in Goldfinger? It’s a striking and functional design, paired with Valkyrie-style rear lights and a distinctive Kamm Tail to reduce drag.

A Proper Interior Fit for a Supercar

Inside, it’s all about luxury and precision craftsmanship. The cockpit features low-slung Sports Plus seats to keep you firmly in place while you’re launching that V12 on a twisty road. Everything from the stitching to the design layout screams luxury, while the 10.25-inch Pure Black touchscreen and all-new infotainment system ensure you’re always connected.

For those who like to travel in style, there’s even bespoke luggage designed to fit neatly in the rear slots behind the seats. And, of course, it matches the car’s interior – what else would you expect?

Boost Reserve: A Supercar Feature You’ll Love

One feature that’s particularly cool is the Boost Reserve function. This isn’t just about giving you all the power when you need it. Instead, it increases turbo boost pressure above what’s required when cruising at part throttle. So, when you decide to overtake, all that pressure is ready to go – instant, blistering acceleration at your command. It’s like having a supercharged rocket in your back pocket, ready to unleash at a moment’s notice – thanks Q!

A Supercar That Can Play Both Roles

The 2024 Aston Martin Vanquish is built around a bonded aluminium structure, with double wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension. What does that mean for you? Well, you’re looking at a car that’s comfortable enough to crush continents in GT mode, yet razor-sharp enough to tear up a mountain road when you switch to Sport+ mode.

A bit like 007, it’s a dual character – part luxury GT, part hardcore supercar. So, while you’re not likely to be taking this around the track every weekend, you’ll have all the performance you need if the mood strikes on a good stretch of road.

A Price Tag to Match

Of course, all this performance and luxury doesn’t come cheap. Expect to pay around £350,000 for the privilege of owning one of these, and that’s before you start customising it through Aston Martin’s Q personalisation programme. But hey, for those who can afford it, I reckon this is the sort of car that offers a unique blend of classic V12 power and modern supercar tech. Plus, let’s not forget – you’re getting a piece of the Vanquish legacy.

The Verdict: Bond’s Next Ride?

So, could this be James Bond’s next car? Well, if you ask me, it certainly looks the part. It’s got the speed, the style, and the heritage to make any secret agent proud. Whether Bond himself ends up behind the wheel or not, one thing’s for sure – the 2024 Aston Martin Vanquish is set to be an instant icon.

What do you think? Let me know in the comments – is this Aston Martin Vanquish Bond-worthy? Or would you pick something else?
