Ford Mustang Bullitt Edition Review

There simply isn’t a cooler brand new car on sale right now

I never miss an opportunity to get behind the wheel of one of the most evocative and iconic nameplates in automotive history – a Ford Mustang. For well over half a century this has been the coolest ride on the block, it features in more movies and TV shows – not to mention – social media posts – than any other car. From Nicholas Cage’s Eleanor in Gone in 60 Seconds, to Will Smith’s Shelby in I Am Legend, to James Bond’s Mach 1 in Diamonds are Forever.

Full Review: Jeep Wrangler 2.0-litre two-door

We know it overlands and adventures, but does it work as an urban warrior?

An all-new version of the Jeep Wrangler, the JL, was launched in 2018 – I attended the European launch of the car in Spielberg, Austria, where I drove Middle East spec versions (I was reporting for Motoring Middle East at the time) and you can see that video below. Unlike the Middle East, however, the UK gets a choice of the 2.0-litre petrol or the 2.2 diesel and the highly regarded V6 Pentastar engine is not offered.

However the X6 eschews the much-trodden path of merely taking a grinder to the upper rear of a boxy SUV, and not stepping back until the rear roof has been squashed and reshaped into a more flowing profile – AKA the fastback boot.

BMW 330e Plug-In electric hybrid review

Check out my full review of the hybrid 3 Series – does it still feel like a 3 Series?

It’s the superclean BMW 3 Series that runs about half the time on electric power and claims a maximum of 200mpg! It’s an M-Sport version, but does it still feel, drive and behave like a 3 Series should? Watch my full review. Follow #BCGBMW #BCGBMW330e & #BrownCarGuy (on all all social media). Review: Kia Soul EV – but has it got SOUL?!!

This is the grooviest car review on the internet right now!

Kia call this car the Soul, and music has always been an integral theme with this model range – even in this latest third generation edition. You can see that from the acoustically-themed stylised interior design elements, and the fact that it’s got a banging 10-speaker Harmon/Kardon sound system. Whilst on the UK launch of the latest version, the most pertinent comment of the day came from my colleague, former-TV motoring journalist, Kevin Haggarthy: “I know why this car doesn’t have any engine noise, it’s so we can hear the music better!”
