You know, rich people don’t just rock up to luxury car showrooms with a briefcase full of money to buy the latest, most expensive exotica – well actually some do – but most need finance just like you and me. JBR Capital specialises in high-end vehicle financing and has revealed a few interesting trends from 2019.
This shouldn’t really come as a surprise, but sales of trucks and SUVs have massively increased in United States of America over the past 10 years, whilst market share for saloons and hatchbacks has been dramatically shrunk. No wonder Ford of US is switching over entirely to SUVs (apart from Mustang – the world’s best-selling sportscar).
I dropped my crystal ball, it shattered internally and now it’s more crystallised than crystal clear. It doesn’t matter; the world is topsy-turvy and there is a massive disturbance in the Force. Well, at least a major upset, worthy of at least a couple of swigs of Pepto-Bismol I’d wager, especially if you’re reading this after Christmas dinner, enthroned upon the old Armitage Shanks!

Ferrari has dropped an all-new car, privately launching it at a client event in Rome – and it had to be Italy’s storied capital because the car itself is named Roma. But breathe a sigh of relief as the latest car to wear a Prancing Horse badged and which is not a direct replacement of edition of an existing model in its illustrious range is not an SUV. At least not yet!
