Drive Them While You Still Can!

In a world where technological advancements are rapidly changing the way we view driving, the concept of keeping a low mileage car has become increasingly outdated and wasteful. As a passionate car enthusiast, I believe it’s time we re-evaluate our approach to car usage. Low mileage cars are a mistake. We should be driving our cars more than ever before!

ULEZ: The Last Car Meet with WLC

Attended the last pre-ULEZ Expansion Car Meet by West London Classics today – kinda sad

This was West London Classic’s last meet before the ULEZ expansion kicks in on Tuesday 29th August, whilst the venue for this event is just outside the M25, most of the members of WLC are based in London and a very high percentage drive non-ULEZ compliant modern classics. So what will happen to car culture in London?

Took the BCG BMW E30 to the amazing Bromley Pageant of Motoring at Norman Park in Bromley where it’s been held for 40 years, although it the last couple of years were missed due to the pandemic. It’s now back, bigger and better than ever, complete with One Make Parking (where I displayed the E30), car clubs, a packed trade area, autojumble, live action arena including The Tigers Motorcycle Display Team, the smallest car in the world and more, together with a funfair and inflatables. Here’s an extensive walkaround video of the event.

ULEZ Threat: Why the UK Government is WRONG about Classic Cars!

The UK is directly in contravention with UNESCO by classifying classics as over 40 years old

How old does a car need to be before it becomes a classic? In a previous video, posted a couple of weeks ago, and embedded below, I revealed that London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, wants to extend ULEZ – the Ultra Low Emission Zone – to the whole of Greater London, covering most of the area up to the M25!

Here’s why its impact will be limited, how it will hurt the poorest the most, why it will kill classic car culture in London, and how to stop it. Urgent action is needed now. This is serious. Share and circulate this video and most importantly tell London’s authorities what you think – do it now, don’t delay! https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/cleanair?fbclid=IwAR3UHrpGe1qbc5ejyhbL948WyD4yewTOF6-5LzmBSSayYKgO98gNJZx1fJY

Porsche 718 Cayman vs Honda NSX

Second episode in my Brand New Vs Classic Cool series

You could buy a brand new Porsche 718 Cayman today for around £45,000, but you shouldn’t. Instead, how about a classic cool alternative? The… original Honda NSX from the 1990s. It’ll cost you around the same money is far cooler and legit! Plus Ayrton Senna helped develop it and owned them, and Pro Gordon Murray based the McLaren F1 on it.
