Did I win? Check out my Vlog from the Newspress Live Event and 2022 Automotive Media Industry Awards. I was shortlisted for the Best Video of 2021 category. Newspress said about me: “…knowledgeable and likeably geeky approach. He drifts between thoughtfully produced and erratically esoteric!” Went up there in my 1989 BMW E30 325i SE two-door coupe – and that became something of an adventure itself! Check out my latest video podcast, this time with veteran motoring journalist, Martin Gurdon and in association with GoClassics magazine. He writes about cars for the London Evening Standard, Daily Telegraph and Spectator Online website as well as other titles. He’s also a judge for the Motor Trader Awards. He’s also an author with nine books to his credit including the Bluffer’s Guide to Cars and Hen & The Art of Chicken Maintenance! I ask him about that, and also his first car, which was a Honda Z600, which he bought for 5 pence from his dad. These days he rocks around in a 1989 Skoda 120L saloon, that’s the Estelle.
