I don’t normally commute on public transport these days (I work from home). But as Conference Coordinator for the Proptech Show in Angle the last couple of days, I was taking the London Underground into town in rush hour. I had forgotten just how crowded, awful and potentially dangerous that experience was. How is this better for our health?

London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, keeps claiming that the ULEZ Expansion in August will save 4000 lives. I have already done a video revealing these figures are spurious – find that video below. Meanwhile someone also put in a Freedom of Information Act Request with the Office of National Statistics (ons.gov.uk) asking “How many deaths are recorded in London as a direct result of car emissions?”
Is it some next-level stupidity or misguided bravado that compels racists to unload on a channel called ‘Brown Car Guy’? And FYI, just to be clear, it’s not the car that’s brown!

In the wake of London’s Islington Council announcing it wants to ban cars from 70% of its roads, Hackney Council went further yesterday and said it will bar cars from 75% of its tarmac. The anti-car march continues – from London to Scotland to other parts of the world, this is getting very depressing for car lovers.
Despite the fact that the ULEZ expansion across the whole of outer London will have little to no impact on the air we breathe according to Transport for London’s own report, Mayor Sadiq Khan, insists on going ahead with in August saying ‘I’m not going to apologise for taking bold action to fix London’s air.’ Well okay. But was he watching ITV News yesterday?
