Was so proud of this review of my comic book ‘Let’s Jam’ back in 1996. This was printed in a small press review magazine and I reprinted it in this leaflet at the time which I just now came across.

In the mid 90s I did some comic-book script writing and created some characters and stories that actually made it into print – well, Small Press Print as it was known – with the help of a couple of fantastic artists.

There’s a glut of superheroes on the small and big screens right now, but they are the Superheroes we deserve, not the ones we need.
These are not the heroes that inspired a generation – bring them back, they’re needed more than ever.
Spoilers ahead – well Superman’s been spoilt for me, so why should you be saved? And you wouldn’t be, not by THIS Superman.
Iron Man, or rather Tony Stark appears to go all Die Hard in the third movie, not DH 3, 4 and 5, but 1 and 2 – the good ones.
