BCG BMW SOLD! The End of an Era for My Classic E30.
8 February 2025 – Well, here we are. The BrownCarGuy BMW E30 325i SE – the BCG BMW – has officially moved on. The keys have been handed over, the last revs have echoed through the streets of Brent, and the car park suddenly feels a little too empty.
In this podcast I’m catching up with my mate Kirpal Singh Randhawa, founder of West London Classics, the car club that’s gone from a small group of petrolheads getting together to chat about carburettors, to one of the most significant forces in London’s car community!

A pair of stunning and beautifully restored Austin Healeys sit awaiting my attention. The Blue car is a 1965 Healey 3000, and the white car is a 1957 100/6. It’s a bright sunny day, we’re in the very heart of London, and I’ll be driving both. But these aren’t ordinary classic British roadsters. They’re hiding a secret.

Packed from the beginning on day 1 – Friday 24 February, we talk to owners and car makers about Ferraris, American coolness, and replica Bentley Blowers and a Bugatti Veyron. Plus we check out 60 years of the Porsche 911, Chevrolet Corvette and much more. And how about that brown and black Chevrolet Camaro SS – it’s even got my initials on it!
I took the BCG BMW E30 and joined the father and son team (Jaz and Jaz Jr) that run West London Classics yesterday for their season-opening event, a car meet held in Feltham. Check out my video from the event, including interviews with the organisers and those attending. Discussions included people’s concerns over the forthcoming ULEZ-Expansion.
This car used to belong to a Purple Heart-awarded veteran, who became a Detroit cop, bought the car new in 1969 and became a secret street drag racer at night, dominating the Motor City Power scene of the 1970s.

James Bond’s Aston Martin V8 from ‘No Time To Die’ is being sold at auction for charity by Christie’s. It’s being offered direct by EON Productions and is estimated to be sold for well over £500,000.
