Classic cars under threat? California, the birthplace of car culture, is considering a bold move that’s left motoring enthusiasts fuming. The state is proposing to introduce Zero Emission Zones that could restrict or outright ban vintage cars from certain areas. Sound familiar? It’s eerily similar to London’s ULEZ, and history tells us that what happens in California doesn’t stay in California. These trends tend to spread. So, could cherished classic car culture face the same fate globally?

2022 Bromley Pageant of Motoring

Took the BCG BMW E30 to the amazing Bromley Pageant of Motoring at Norman Park in Bromley where it’s been held for 40 years, although it the last couple of years were missed due to the pandemic. It’s now back, bigger and better than ever, complete with One Make Parking (where I displayed the E30), car clubs, a packed trade area, autojumble, live action arena including The Tigers Motorcycle Display Team, the smallest car in the world and more, together with a funfair and inflatables.
