Land Rover Defender 90 P400 & P300 On and Off-Road Review

Driving the new Defender 90 in top and entry spec on road, track off road!

Here’s the first review of the new Land Rover Defender 90. I know what you’re thinking, surely the new Defender has been out a while already? Indeed, and with some success. The Defender 110 clocked up 4500 sales in July, one of the best months ever for the company – under pressure from the pandemic and slowing export sales – but that’s the four-door long-wheel base version. The two-door edition was delayed.

Ford Mustang Bullitt Edition Review

There simply isn’t a cooler brand new car on sale right now

I never miss an opportunity to get behind the wheel of one of the most evocative and iconic nameplates in automotive history – a Ford Mustang. For well over half a century this has been the coolest ride on the block, it features in more movies and TV shows – not to mention – social media posts – than any other car. From Nicholas Cage’s Eleanor in Gone in 60 Seconds, to Will Smith’s Shelby in I Am Legend, to James Bond’s Mach 1 in Diamonds are Forever.

Full Review: Jeep Wrangler 2.0-litre two-door

We know it overlands and adventures, but does it work as an urban warrior?

An all-new version of the Jeep Wrangler, the JL, was launched in 2018 – I attended the European launch of the car in Spielberg, Austria, where I drove Middle East spec versions (I was reporting for Motoring Middle East at the time) and you can see that video below. Review: BMW X6

Does a BMW heart still beat beneath all that bulk?

The new X6 arrived this year in the wake of the all-new X5 introduced in 2019. Now in its third generation, this is the ‘coupe’ version of its more traditionally upright and uptight SUV sibling – the so-serious X5. However the X6 eschews the much-trodden path of merely taking a grinder to the upper rear of a boxy SUV, and not stepping back until the rear roof has been squashed and reshaped into a more flowing profile – AKA the fastback boot.

BMW 330e Plug-In electric hybrid review

Check out my full review of the hybrid 3 Series – does it still feel like a 3 Series?

It’s the superclean BMW 3 Series that runs about half the time on electric power and claims a maximum of 200mpg! It’s an M-Sport version, but does it still feel, drive and behave like a 3 Series should? Watch my full review. Follow #BCGBMW #BCGBMW330e & #BrownCarGuy (on all all social media).
