McLaren 720S Spider Review

Right at the top of this review let’s state something that maybe obvious to you, the 720S, launched about four years ago, is pretty awesome. It marks the point at which McLaren got good at making this genre of automobile. Really good. And it still shows today. Though that wasn’t necessarily obvious to me.

About as hardcore as a road car can get, superb at the right place and time

If you’ve only just managed to get your head around McLaren’s unique model range structure, go full face-palm now, because the arrival of recent new offerings from the supercar maker signal that’s all about to change. So here then is the McLaren 620R which the company says concludes its Sports Series lineup which featured the 570, 600 and from which was also spun a pure race car in the form of the 570S GT4.

765LT is the latest new McLaren since Tuesday, I think

McLaren need to stop churning out supercars so quickly – here’s another one since I wrote that

McLaren has revealed the 765LT, another extension to extensive line-up of supercars. This features 765bhp and 800Nm of torque from its twin-turbo V8, and is capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in 2.8 seconds, and 0-124mph (200kph) in 7.2 seconds.
