The Esprit ran from 1976 to 2004, it’s my all-time favourite car, and we were last teased with the chance of an all-new Esprit 10 years ago when Lotus showed a raft of new concepts at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, including the Esprit – none of those happened. But this time it could be different. I’ll tell you why.
