The West London Classics club’s Show & Shine event 2024, held last Sunday (21st July 2024) at the Osterley Sports and Community Centre in Southall, was a spectacular day of automotive excellence, and a kaleidoscope diversity of car culture!

Petrolheadonism Live Event at Knebworth – 2023 Edition . Awesome cars, superstars of the car world, the craziest customs, plus I interview some of the amazing people attending including Sam Hard of Hard Up Garage , the owner of Mustang paying tribute to a murdered Sikh Sheriff , and no less than Captain Jack Sparrow himself his amazing Black Pearl custom Chevy van, plus flame-throwing exhausts on another police Mustang! What a show!
This was West London Classic’s last meet before the ULEZ expansion kicks in on Tuesday 29th August, whilst the venue for this event is just outside the M25, most of the members of WLC are based in London and a very high percentage drive non-ULEZ compliant modern classics. So what will happen to car culture in London?

A taste of what’s to come at The British Motor Show next month – we had a go at Car Football with a host of TV and YouTube stars and Influencers including, Mike Brewer of Wheeler Dealers, Alex Kersen @AutoalexCars Curtis Pritchard @brostorquesupercars , Adam C @AdamC3046 , Scott of @Ratarossa , Sam Hard @Hardupgarage , plus @MotorAddicts and Paul Swift. No giant inflatable balls, Ford Fiestas or Vauxhall Corsas were hurt during the filming of this. Just kidding! They were mercilessly butchered! Huge crazy fun! And an amazing line-up of automotive who’s who!

Check out my video from yesterday’s Enfield Pageant of Motoring (28th May 2023) – possibly the last one before ULEZ kicks in and substantially impacts both this and the Bromley Pageant. An amazing event where I got to meet Steve McQueen in the most authentic Bullitt Mustang recreation I’ve ever seen, plus I check out Starsky and Hutch’s Striped Tomato (the famous red Ford Gran Torino), the Zombie Police Car from Resident Evil 2, Herbie and the Bluesmobile. I also took my 1989 BMW 325i E30 – #BCGBMWE30 – and it was great to catch up with some of you!
