Audi S3 Saloon review

Beefed up little exec is quick, but is it worth paying extra over the regular A3?

This decent looking little Audi executive class saloon has a bit of a wild streak. Note the ‘S’ ahead of the 3 rather than ‘A’. That means it has 310bhp, Quattro all-wheel drive and 0-62mph in under five seconds! Thanks to a turbo 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that also puts out 295lb ft of torque put to the ground through a 7-speed dual clutch auto. Top speed is limited to 155mph.

Audi A3 40 TFSi e (PHEV) Sportback Review

The new Audi A3 is the best-looking it’s ever been, but does the Plug-In hybrid appeal?

This is the Audi A3 Sportback 40 TFSI e – let me translate that for you: it’s the A3 hatchback with a 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine producing 150bhp,though that’s not it’s only power unit. Audi Q3 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro

Better looking than an Q3 – but is it less practical?

The Audi Q3 Sportback is a sleeker, sportier looking version of the Q3 family SUV – you could go as far as to describe the Sportback as a Crossover rather than a SUV. The coupe-like profile reveals bulging flanks that give it a more meatier and muscular stance. It looks bigger than a Q3, but while it is indeed slightly longer, it’s actually, somewhat surprisingly, narrower. However lowering the roofline by nearly five centimetres appears to have done the trick of radically altering its visual presence and certainly enhancing its appeal.

Latest Brown Car Guy Update 16032020 #BCGDaily

Each week a new supercar or hypercar drops with ridiculous horsepower, shocking 0-60
times and absurd price tags – but just how relevant are they? Should manufacturers instead
be focussing on creating more accessible sports cars for those that really love driving and
could afford. Link to my latest DriveTribe feature I mentioned

Geneva Motor Show 2020 was the best motor show that never was | Brown Car Guy 05032020

Now we know how much amazing new metal was due to be showcased at the Geneva Motor Show

I’ve been flat out trying to keep up with, and failing to do so, all the news coming out of the Geneva Motor Show this year – except it wasn’t because the show was cancelled. Which is even sadder now that we realise how many new products and concepts were being introduced by main manufacturers alone, never mind smaller companies. Here I run through some of them. Review: 2019 Audi A4 35 TFSI

It may be the same, but that mid-life facelift is astonishingly extensive for the current A4

It’s the same but better. I know, what you’re thinking: ‘hang on… what’s changed? Oh but wait, that looks far more interesting from the front three-quarters…’
