Most expensive on the list was James Bond’s Aston Martin DB5 costing £28,787 per month – because to buy one today would cost about £3.45m. Although if you found the actual Connery Car, it’d be worth about £25m!Continue reading “How Much Per Month to Lease a Movie Car?”

Is this the true spiritual successor to the original Quattro?
Every car person will remember the original 1980s Audi ur-Quattro, something of a legend of road and rally stages. It made its name as a WRC champion having taken the world rallying championship by storm with its stunning all-wheel drive system, out-pacing just about every contender out there, until they followed suit and also developed cars capable of sending torque to all four wheels.Continue reading “Audi RS6 Review”

Beefed up little exec is quick, but is it worth paying extra over the regular A3?
This decent looking little Audi executive class saloon has a bit of a wild streak. Note the ‘S’ ahead of the 3 rather than ‘A’. That means it has 310bhp, Quattro all-wheel drive and 0-62mph in under five seconds! Thanks to a turbo 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that also puts out 295lb ft of torque put to the ground through a 7-speed dual clutch auto. Top speed is limited to 155mph.Continue reading “Audi S3 Saloon review”
The new Audi A3 is the best-looking it’s ever been, but does the Plug-In hybrid appeal?
This is the Audi A3 Sportback 40 TFSI e – let me translate that for you: it’s the A3 hatchback with a 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine producing 150bhp,though that’s not it’s only power unit. As the ‘e’ in the title signifies, this is a plug-in electric hybrid (PHEV) which also packs an 85kW electric motor integrated into the six-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox producing 107bhp.Continue reading “Audi A3 40 TFSi e (PHEV) Sportback Review”
Better looking than an Q3 – but is it less practical?
The Audi Q3 Sportback is a sleeker, sportier looking version of the Q3 family SUV – you could go as far as to describe the Sportback as a Crossover rather than a SUV. The coupe-like profile reveals bulging flanks that give it a more meatier and muscular stance. It looks bigger than a Q3, but while it is indeed slightly longer, it’s actually, somewhat surprisingly, narrower. However lowering the roofline by nearly five centimetres appears to have done the trick of radically altering its visual presence and certainly enhancing its appeal.Continue reading “Audi Q3 Sportback 45 TFSI Quattro”
