When some other brands switched their city car icons to full electric ranges, it was fair to assume that Mini would do the same with the newest generation of its beloved hatchback. After all, it already offered the Mini E (electric car) since 2020. But praise the octane loads of combustion, BMW has seen fit to continue to offer its cutest car with petrol power.
London-based independent publisher, Batsford Books, kindly sent me a copy of this new book out this month £16.99. ‘The Spirit of VW – 50 Reasons Why we love them’ By Vaughan Grylls. Described as ‘an essential guide to one of the most revered classic car brands worldwide, featuring sleek photography and witty commentary’. Lots of history, fun anecdotes, great pictures, some bizarre Bugs and a great insight into the character & charisma of VW.
