New Songs by BCG – Nowhere to Be & Apex Thrill

Sometimes driving isn’t about getting anywhere. It’s about feeling something. These two new tracks are for those moments when the road matters more than the destination.

There are drives we all remember that had no purpose whatsoever. No sat-nav. No timetable. Just fuel in the tank, music playing, and a road stretching out ahead. That feeling of freedom, flow, and quiet joy is hard to explain, but it’s exactly what I’ve been exploring with my latest music. These songs aren’t about cars as objects, but about driving as an experience. While I’ve had a hand in shaping the lyrics and direction, the final songs and visuals are AI-generated, using the technology as a creative collaborator.

AI, Cars and the Great Reality Wobble

How artificial intelligence is reshaping automotive design, marketing, media – and whether any of us know what’s real anymore

Everything looks real. Until it isn’t. Cars, content, even people are now being designed, edited and improved by artificial intelligence – and the automotive world may never look the same again. If you’ve found yourself squinting at your phone lately thinking “Hang on… is that real?”, congratulations. You are officially living in the age of artificial intelligence.

Not the flying-cars, robot-butlers kind. No. This is the more unsettling version. The one where cars are being designed by algorithms, photos are being “improved” beyond recognition, videos are faked convincingly enough to fool journalists, and voices can be cloned while their owners are fast asleep. Welcome to the great reality wobble.

The Future We Promised Ourselves – And Why We’re Not at Warp Yet

I’ve always loved Star Trek for its vision of a hopeful, united, intelligent humanity. But as the USS Enterprise prepares to warp into the future, I can’t help but wonder – have we stranded ourselves in the past?

Stardate: Right-Here-Right-Now

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve loved Star Trek. Not because of the phasers, photon torpedoes, or the occasional red-shirt casualty (though let’s be honest, those were fun too). No – it was the future it promised. A future built on intellect, compassion, curiosity, and progress. A future where humanity finally grew up, stopped arguing about nonsense, cured disease, ended hunger, explored the stars – and had the decency to put cup holders on shuttlecraft.

‘Street Heat’ Rap

From Pigbosher’s album Urban Swamp from Mad Bison

The intriguingly-named Mad Bison is a London-based remixer who works with a variety of music genres, but I was particularly interested to come across a great car-inspired track by his protege, a rapper going by the moniker of Pigbosher. This track, ‘Street Heat’ is lifted from his album, ‘Urban Swamp’ – a rousing mix of social commentary spotlighting the grittier side of life. Mr Pigbosher is one angry chap, it seems. But back to the chase – the video accompanying Street Heat is a blast of raw angst and heavy metal car action – well worth three minutes of anyone’s time!

Review: Superman 2025

James Gunn Goes Back to First Principles – and It Works, thankfully!

This is not the best Superman movie. I just wanted to get that out of the way. Superman the Movie (1978) and Superman II (1980) still place first and second on the podium pedestals. However, could the latest James Gunn Superman movie actually take that third position – an unthinkable proposition surely?

Don’t Watch the F1 Movie Starring Brad Pitt…

…once. Watch it again and again!

There’s only one reason you shouldn’t watch the new F1 movie starring Brad Pitt. And I’ll tell you that reason at the end of this article. But I have to be honest, I really wasn’t sure about this one. When we first heard whispers of this movie being made my scepticism levels were through the roof. Brad Pitt? In a Formula 1 car? Come on, the bloke’s 60! Surely he’s going to play a team principal, right? Nope – he’s a driver. My eyebrows rose so quickly they nearly overtook Verstappen.

Knight Rider Reboots Will Always Fail – Except This One!

I explain why all attempts to bring back Knight Rider have flopped, and why my idea will work

What a show. So iconic. So enduring. Forty-three years after the show started, it’s still well remembered and much loved today. Even as you read this, I guarantee that distinctive synth theme will have popped into your head, along with a visual of that black 1982 Pontiac Trans Am, with that signature red scanner light flashing across the front of the sleek, sexy black sports car. And you can hear the words… “Knight Rider, a shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist…”

If BCG Was An Action Thriller

Is this part of a new book? Could it be? What do you think?

By the faintest light of a dying streetlamp, BCG turned the padlock dials until the combinations clicked into place. The lock snapped open with a metallic crack, and he rolled up the shutter. A wave of stale air drifted from the dark, damp interior. He paused, letting his eyes adjust – until the sharp angle of a raked windscreen and flat bonnet emerged from the gloom.

New Grand Tour Presenters Revealed

But will you actually watch it? This was a show created, after all, specifically for the Top Gear refugees, Clarkson, Hammond & May!

It’s official (well, sort of) – The Grand Tour is gearing up for a new era. The legendary trio of Clarkson, Hammond and May have finally driven off into the sunset for good (after that rather fitting Zimbabwe send-off), and now the rumour mill – nay, the internet – is buzzing with the announcement of their replacements. So who are the brave souls stepping into the shoes of one of the most daunting trios in Automotive TV history?
