Which is your favourite Batmobile
Now I haven’t seen the new Batman movie yet, hopefully next weekend, but I’m just gonna go ahead and put it out there – I think this is the worst Batmobile ever!
Okay, admittedly when I first saw sneak silhouette images, I did think it’s muscle car style was cool. But now that I’ve seen it in more detail, well it just feels like something the guys from Roadkill could have knocked it out in a couple of days. No disrespect, Freiburger and Finnegan are legends. But this is supposed to be billionaire Bruce Wayne, who has unlimited resources, and yet he couldn’t even finish the bodywork at the back?
It really just appears to be a rebodied 1969 Dodge Charger with a mid-mounted massive V8 and occasional jet power plus a battering ram. Oh and adjustable all-wheel drive. That’s the sum total of its features. I know they wanted to make it feel like Batman built this thing himself, but he’s clearly no Chip Foose.
So best Batmobile ever remains the 60’s TV show original, followed by Michael Keaton’s 1989 beast and the Tumbler. What say you?
